Minyaan Foundation on 5th March, 2021 distribute immunity tablets to Covid affected families in Mulanthuruthy Health Centre Panchayat at Ernakulam Kerala. This health centre reported 1000+ Covid affected cases during the peak of this pandemic.
Covid was in peak when we thought of visiting this panchayat. We met the president and expressed our views. Ms Mariamma, the president was so delighted to know our idea and said ‘No one so far thought of this”! She immediately called the Vice President Benny Kurian and other team members to discuss further. The Founder member Ms Mrinalini Haridas handed over the tablets to the Health Officer Dr Shaji so that he can distribute it further.
Minyaan also got an invite to visit the Covid ward which has been arranged for Covid patients. The measures were taken so carefully with proper sanitisation etc. Great experience!
